Every season has its own challenges and rewards

Southern California is lucky enough to have a growing season that lasts almost all year long- and you can extend that with some clever usage of shading and/or greenhouse coverings. Interested?- Just ask a member of the steering committee, or if you already know, volunteer your knowledge to help some one else out.

We all know about spring planting, but what to plant in the Fall?

Once we have cooler weather it's a great time to plant lettuce, broccoli, kale, Swiss chard, spinach, and herbs like cilantro and rosemary.  Did we leave your favorite cool weather veggie out?  Let us know at cgwes17@gmail.com.
